3D Scanning Workflow
Step-by-step instructions

Create a new prescription
From the dashboard:
- Navigate to the Prescription section
- Select Add to create a new patient order record

Enter patient information
Complete all required patient details and prescription information. Once finished, select Continue.

Launch the scanner
After clicking Continue, a yellow Launch Scanner button will appear.
Selecting this button will automatically open the 3D CustomFit app and connect it to the active prescription.
If the app is not already installed, download it here:

Upload scans to complete the prescription
After the scan is completed, upload the scan files from the 3D CustomFit app back to the portal.
The prescription will not be started until the order is submitted.
Once uploaded, the case will automatically enter production workflow tracking within the portal.
